GrinLoft Pinner — Privacy Policy

GrinLoft Pinner is a private, single-tenant tool operated by GrinLoft (an Etsy shop) to publish Pins about GrinLoft's own products to GrinLoft's own Pinterest business account. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

What the app does

• Creates Pins (image, title, description, destination link) on boards owned by the GrinLoft Pinterest account, each one individually reviewed and approved by a GrinLoft team member before publishing.
• Reads the GrinLoft account's own boards, Pins and Pin/account analytics to report performance back to the GrinLoft team.
• Reads Pinterest Trends data to choose relevant keywords.

Data we access and store

• OAuth tokens for the GrinLoft Pinterest account are stored encrypted-at-rest on a single GrinLoft-owned computer and are never shared with third parties.
• Pin content (images, titles, descriptions, links) is created by GrinLoft and belongs to GrinLoft.
• Analytics about GrinLoft's own Pins and account may be stored locally for reporting, as permitted by the Pinterest Developer Guidelines.
• The app does not access, collect or store any data about other Pinterest users, does not read messages, and does not sell or share data with anyone.

Third parties

The app talks only to the Pinterest API. Destination links point to GrinLoft's shop on Etsy (grinloft.etsy.com); Etsy's own privacy policy applies on those pages.

Data retention and deletion

Tokens are deleted when access is revoked in Pinterest settings or on request. Locally stored analytics can be deleted at any time by the GrinLoft team.
